The template clamp is moved by a dual-axis servo manipulator and moves under the sewing head according to the sewing track designed by the computer to complete the sewing work. . Another computer pattern sewing machine uses a template clamp suitable for sewing the sheet to fix the cloth piece to be sewn, but keep the template clamp fixed, and move the sewing head along the designed sewing track to complete the sewing work. In addition, there is also a computerized pattern sewing machine that combines the above two motions, that is, separates the machine head from the shuttle bed, and uses an AC servo motor to drive the needle up and down to reciprocate and rotate. The CNC system controls the conveyor to move along the x axis and controls the head It moves synchronously with the shuttle bed along the y axis to realize the two-dimensional movement of the template.

These three kinds of computerized pattern sewing machines have reduced the technical requirements for operators to a certain extent, and improved production efficiency. But there are still some obvious shortcomings. One is the use of template clamps to fix the cloth pieces, which causes a huge waste of templates for frequently changing order processing. The second is that for the current common small sewing situation, the needle change speed of the operator's assembly and disassembly jigs does not match the speed of the sewing machine, which reduces the actual production efficiency of the computer pattern sewing machine.
